<br />URBINAMl~E iID~2 !lO~g. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF <br />EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $2,200 AND <br />APPROPRIATING SAID AMOUNT IN THE 2005-2006 GRANTS FUND FOR <br />USE BY THE DEPARTMENT OF FIRE, RESCUE, AND EMERGENCY <br />SERVICES IN A HAZARDOUS MATERIALS EXERCISE. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That the City of Portsmouth hereby accepts a grant from the Virginia <br />Department of Emergency Management in the amount of $2,200 and appropriates said <br />amount in the 2005-2006 Grants Fund for use by the Department of Fire, Rescue, and <br />Emergency Services for a hazardous materials exercise. <br /> <br />2. <br />$2,200. <br /> <br />That estimated revenue in the FY 2005-2006 Grants Fund is increased by <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a meeting held <br />on November 22,2005. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />
