<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2005~07 . <br /> <br />ZONING AMENDMENT ORDINANCE Z-04-08 <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That the portion of the zoning map attached to and made a part of the City <br />of Portsmouth Zoning Ordinance which now zones as Commercial C-2 and Industrial M- <br />1, the property identified as 925 Elm Avenue and 1140 South Street and described in <br />Petition for Zoning Amendment Number Z-04-08, is hereby amended and changed so as <br />to show said property zoned as Downtown D-1-R (Residential), and that said property is <br />hereby zoned as Downtown D-I-R (Residential). <br /> <br />2. That the property affected by this ordinance by being zoned from <br />Commercial C-2 and Industrial M-I to Downtown D-1-R (Residential) is furthermore <br />described as follows: <br /> <br />Z-04-08 <br /> <br />Beginning at a point at the northeast corner of the intersection of <br />South and Elm Streets, then proceeding northeast approximately <br />270', then continue north approximately 100', then proceed west <br />approximately 270', and then continue south approximately 125' to <br />the point of beginning. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a meeting held <br />on January 25, 2005. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
