<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />ORDlNANCE N0200C;-Oh . <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING $1,000 IN FUNDS FROM THE WALMART- <br />SAM'S CLUB SAFE NEIGHBOR AWARD PROGRAM AND APPROPRIATING <br />SAID SUM IN THE GRANTS FUND FOR USE BY THE PORTSMOUTH <br />DEPARTMENT OF FIRE AND RESCUE SERVICES. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />I. That the City of Portsmouth accepts $1,000 in funds from the WalMart- <br />Sam's Club Safe Neighbor Award Program and appropriates said amount in the Grants <br />Fund for the provision of physical fitness equipment for members of the Portsmouth <br />Department of Fire and Rescue Services. <br /> <br />2. That the City's estimated revenues in the FY 2004-2005 Operating Budget <br />are increased by $1,000. <br /> <br />3. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a meeting held <br />on January 25,2005. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
