<br />GRDINANCE tI__200~. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $17,336 FROM <br />THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY AND <br />APPROPRIATING SAID AMOUNT IN THE FY-2005-2006 GRANTS FUND FOR <br />THE CLEAN COMMUNITY COMMISSION LITTER PREVENTION AND <br />BEAUTIFICATION PROGRAM. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That the City of Portsmouth hereby accepts a grant from the Virginia <br />Department of Environmental Quality in the amount of $17,336 and appropriates said <br />amount in the FY 2005-2006 Grants Fund for the Clean Community Commission Litter <br />Prevention and Beautification Program. <br /> <br />2. That the City's estimated revenue in the FY 2005-2006 Grants Fund is <br />increased by $17,336. <br /> <br />3.
