<br />iatUINPJ1Ci NO..~gO~-8~ <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $227,838 <br />FROM THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF FIRE PROGRAMS AND <br />APPROPRIATING SAID AMOUNT IN THE FY 2005-2006 GRANTS FUND FOR <br />TRAINING, TRAINING FACILITIES, AND THE EQUIPPING OF FIRE AND <br />EMERGENCY MEDICAL PERSONNEL. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That the City of Portsmouth hereby accepts a grant from the Virginia <br />Department of Fire Programs in the amount of $227,838 and appropriates said amount in <br />the FY 2005-2006 Grants Fund for training, training facilities, and the equipping of fire <br />and emergency medical personnel. <br /> <br />2. That the City's estimated revenue in the FY 2005-2006 Grants Fund is <br />increased by $227,838. <br /> <br />3.
