<br />oi\utHAHCE NO.2 0 05.. 81 _ <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $43,840 FROM <br />THE COMMONWEALTH OF VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF EMERGENCY <br />MANAGEMENT AND APPROPRIATING SAID AMOUNT IN THE FY 2005-2006 <br />GRANTS FUND FOR CONTINUED ENHANCEMENT OF THE CITY'S <br />COMPREHENSIVE EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT PLAN. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />I. That the City of Portsmouth hereby accepts a grant from the <br />Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Emergency Management in the amount of <br />$43,840 and appropriates said amount in the FY 2005-2006 Grants Fund for the <br />continued enhancement of the City's Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan. <br /> <br />2. That the City's estimated revenue in the FY 2005-2006 Grants Fund is <br />increased by $43,840. <br /> <br />3.
