<br />ORDINAtE[ 1IJ~20Q~-1.8 ~ <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A COMMONWEAL TH OF VIRGINIA <br />VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF MOTOR VEHICLES GRANT IN THE AMOUNT <br />OF $3,000 AND APPROPRIATING SAID AMOUNT IN THE GRANTS FUND <br />FOR ENFORCEMENT OF DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE LAWS. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That the City of Portsmouth hereby accepts a grant from the <br />Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles in the amount of $3,000 and <br />appropriates said amount in the Grants Fund for the enforcement of laws against driving <br />under the influence of alcohol and drugs. <br /> <br />2. That the City's estimated revenue in the FY 2005-2006 Grants Fund is <br />increased by $3,000. <br /> <br />3.
