<br />ORDIIWIl.2 0 0 5.ftJ. 7 ~ <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $107,592 <br />FROM THE COMMONWEALTH OF VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF <br />EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AND APPROPRIATING SAID AMOUNT IN <br />THE GRANTS FUND FOR DISASTER RESPONSE RESOURCES. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That the City of Portsmouth hereby accepts a grant from the <br />Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Emergency Management in the amount of <br />$107,592 and appropriates said amount in the Grants Fund for the purchase of resources <br />needed to respond to disasters. <br /> <br />2. That the City's estimated revenue in the FY 2005-2006 Grants Fund is <br />increased by $107,592. <br /> <br />3.
