<br />GRDINANCE 1J.3~76 <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A COMMONWEALTH OF VIRGINIA OFFICE <br />OF EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF <br />$12,160 AND APPROPRIATING SAID AMOUNT IN THE GRANTS FUND FOR <br />THE CITIZEN CORPS COUNCIL PROGRAM FOR DISASTER EDUCATION <br />AND PREPARATION. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That the City of Portsmouth hereby accepts a grant from the <br />Commonwealth of Virginia Office of Emergency Services in the amount of $12,160 and <br />appropriates said amount in the Grants Fund for the Citizen Corps Council Program to <br />educate and prepare citizens for natural or man-made disasters. <br /> <br />2. That the City's estimated revenue in the FY 2005-2006 Grants Fund is <br />increased by $12,160. <br /> <br />3.
