HOt 0 0 5~" <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A LOCAL GOVERNMENT CHALLENGE <br />GRANT FROM THE COMMONWEALTH OF VIRGINIA COMMISSION FOR <br />THE ARTS IN THE AMOUNT OF $5,000 AND APPROPRIATING SAID <br />AMOUNT IN THE FY 2005-2006 GRANTS FUND FOR THE 35TH ANNUAL <br />SEAWALL ART SHOW. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That it accepts a Local Government Challenge Grant from the <br />Commonwealth of Virginia commission for the Arts in the amount of $5,000. <br /> <br />2. That the sum of $5,000 is appropriated in the FY 2005-2006 Grants Fund <br />Operating Budget for the 35th Annual Seawall Art Show. <br /> <br />3. That estimated revenue in the FY 2005-2006 Grants Fund Operating <br />Budget is increased by $5,000. <br /> <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a meeting held <br />on August 9, 2005. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
