<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />2. That the definition of "Inoperative motor vehicle" contained in Section <br />46.2-100 of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia (1988) be amended and <br />reordained to read as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 23-1. Definitions. <br /> <br />Inoperative motor vehicle means any motor vehicle, as defined in ~ 46.2-100 of the Code <br />of Virginia, which is not in operating condition, or which for a period of sixty (60) days <br />or longer has been partially or totally disassembled by the removal of tires and wheels, <br />the engine, or other essential parts required for operation of the vehicle or on which are <br />displayed neither valid license plates nor a valid inspection decal. <br /> <br />3. That Sections 6-34 through 6-40, 22-82, 22-86, 22-88 through 22-91 ofthe <br />Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia (1988) are repealed. <br /> <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on January I, 2006. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on July 26, 2005. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
