<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 200.5-59 <br />" <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A COMMONWEALTH OF VIRGINIA <br />DEPARTMENT OF CRIMINAL JUSTICE SERVICES GRANT IN THE <br />AMOUNT OF $530,163 AND APPROPRIATING SAID AMOUNT IN THE <br />GRANTS FUND OPERATING BUDGET FOR PRETRIAL AND PROBATION <br />SERVICES IN THE CITY. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That the City of Portsmouth hereby accepts a grant from the <br />Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services in the amount of <br />$530,163 and appropriates said amount in the Grants Fund Operating Budget for the <br />operation of pretrial and probation services in the City of Portsmouth. <br /> <br />2. That the City's estimated revenue in the FY 2005-2006 Grants Fund <br />Operating Budget is increased by $530,163. <br /> <br />3. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a meeting held <br />on July 26, 2005. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
