<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE H0,2005-58 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A COMMONWEALTH OF VIRGINIA <br />DEPARTMENT OF CRIMINAL JUSTICE SERVICES GRANT IN THE <br />AMOUNT OF $65,319 AND APPROPRIATING $87,092 IN THE GRANTS FUND <br />OPERATING BUDGET FOR IMPROVEMENTS TO THE POLICE <br />DEPARTMENT'S CRIME ANALYSIS FUNCTION. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />I. That the City accepts a grant from the Commonwealth of Virginia <br />Department of Criminal Justice Services in the amount of$65,319. <br /> <br />2. That the grant requires a local match of$21,773. <br /> <br />3. That the sum of $87,092 is appropriated in the FY 2005-2006 Grants Fund <br />Operating Budget for improvements to the Police Department's crime analysis function. <br /> <br />4. That the City's estimated revenue in the FY 2005-2006 Grants Fund <br />Operating Budget is increased by $87,092. <br /> <br />5. <br /> <br />That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a meeting held <br />on July 26, 2005. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
