AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING $52,476 IN FUNDS FROM THE <br />COMMONWEALTH OF VIRGINIA AND APPROPRIATING SAID SUM IN <br />THE BEHAVIORAL HEALTHCARE SERVICES FUND FOR VARIOUS <br />DEPARTMENTAL PROGRAMS. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br /> l. That the City of Portsmouth accepts $52,476 in funds from the <br />Commonwealth of Virginia and appropriates said amount in the Behavioral Healthcare <br />Services Fund for various departmental programs, including housing and case <br />management needs, the gathering of data for reporting requirements, funding for <br />emergency and disaster preparedness, and funding for contractual services for children. <br /> <br /> 2. That the City's estimated revenues in the FY 2004-2005 Operating Budget <br />are increased by $52,476. <br /> <br />3.
