AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING $12,465 IN STAYING CONNECTED GRANT <br />FUNDS AND APPROPRIATING SAID SUM IN THE GRANTS FUND FOR THE <br />PURCHASE OF COMPUTERS FOR THE PORTSMOUTH PUBLIC LIBRARY. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br /> 1. That the City of Portsmouth accepts $12,465 in Staying Connected Grant <br />funds, and appropriates said amount in the Grants Fund for new or replacement <br />computers to be installed in the Portsmouth Public Library; <br /> <br /> 2. That the City's estimated revenues are increased by $12,465; and <br /> <br /> 3. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br /> ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a meeting held <br />on November 23, 2004. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
