ORDINANCE <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING $335,932 IN COMMONWEALTH OF VIRGINIA <br />DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FUNDS AND APPROPRIATING SAID <br />SUM IN THE GENERAL FUND FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF ROADS, <br />CURBS, AND GUTTERS IN THE CITY. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br /> 1. That the City of Portsmouth accepts $335,932 in Commonwealth of <br />Virginia Department of Transportation funds and appropriates said amount in the General <br />Fund for maintenance of roads, curbs, and gutters in the City. <br /> <br /> 2. That the City's estimated revenues are increased by $335,932. <br /> <br /> 3. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br /> ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a meeting held <br />on November 23, 2004. <br /> <br /> Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
