2004-64 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING $3,488 IN ADDITIONAL EARLY LEARNING <br />OPPORTUNITY ACT GRANT FUNDS FROM SQUARE ONE AND <br />APPROPRIATING SAID SUM IN THE GRANTS FUND FOR THE <br />PORTSMOUTH READY TO READ PROGRAM ADMINISTERED BY THE <br />DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY RELATIONS AND LEISURE SERVICES. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br /> 1. That the City of Portsmouth accepts $3,488 in additional Early Learning <br />Opportunity Act grant funds from Square One, a regional public-private partnership, and <br />appropriates said amount in the Grants Fund for the Portsmouth Ready to Read Program <br />administered by the Department of Community Relations and Leisure Services. <br /> <br /> 2. That the City's estimated revenues are increased by $3,488. <br /> <br /> 3.
