AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CITY'S APPROVED FY 2004-2005 <br />OPERATING BUDGET FOR SECURITY ENHANCEMENTS AND <br />RENOVATIONS TO THE OFFICE OF THE COMMISSIONER OF THE <br />REVENUE AND APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $50,000 OF ADDITIONAL <br />ESTIMATED REVENUE FROM THE COMMONWEALTH OF VIRGINIA FOR <br />SAID PURPOSES. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br /> 1. That the sum of $50,000 in additional estimated revenue from the <br />Commonwealth of Virginia since the City Council's appropriation of the FY 2004-2005 <br />Operating Budget is hereby appropriated for the purpose of security enhancements and <br />renovations to the Office of the Commissioner of the Revenue; <br /> <br /> 2. That the City's estimated revenues are increased by the sum of $50,000, <br />and the City's FY 2004-2005 Operating Budget is amended accordingly. <br /> <br />3. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption· <br /> <br /> ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on October 12, 2004. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
