AN ORDINANCE TO ACCEPT A GRANT FROM THE UNITED STATES <br />ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY IN THE AMOUNT OF $;t41,000 <br />AND TO APPROPRIATE SAID SUM IN THE PUBLIC UTILITIES CAPITAL <br />IMPROVEMENT FUND FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #75939-- <br />NEIGHBORHOOD WATER AND SEWER PROJECTS. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br /> 1. That the City of Portsmouth authorizes the City Manager to accept a grant <br />from the United States Environmental Protection Agency in the amount of $241,000 and <br />appropriates said amount in the Public Utilities Capital Improvement Fund for Capital <br />Improvement Project #75939--"Neighborhood Water and Sewer Projects," which will <br />include the Prentis Park Neighborhood Water and Sewer Rehabilitation Project. <br /> <br />2. That the City's estimated revenues are increased by $241,000. <br /> <br />3.
