ZONING AMENDMENT ORDINANCE Z-03-09 <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br /> 1. That the portion of the zoning map attached to and made a part of the City <br />of Portsmouth Zoning Ordinance which now zones as Residential RS-100, the property <br />described in Petition for Zoning Amendment Number Z-03-09, is hereby amended and <br />changed so as to show said propertyzoned as Commercial C-2-K (Conditional), and that <br />said property is hereby zoned as Commercial C-2-K (Conditional). <br /> <br /> 2, That the property affected by this ordinance by being zoned from <br />Residential RS-100 to Commercial C-2-K (Conditional) is furthermore described as <br />follows: <br /> <br />Z-03-09 <br /> <br />Beginning at the southwest comer of the intersection of <br />Cedar Lane and River Shore Road; thence in a southerly <br />direction approximately 159' to a point; thence in a <br />westerly direction approximately 125' to a point; thence in <br />a northwesterly direction approximately 87' to a point; <br />thence in a northerly direction approximately 125' to a <br />point; thence in a easterly direction approximately 145' to a <br />point of the beginning. <br /> <br /> 3. That the subject property shall be subject to the following conditions as <br />proffered by the applicant for rezoning: <br /> <br />(a) No retail or wholesale sales sbxll be permitted. <br /> <br />(b) <br /> <br />The property may only be used as a single-family detached dwelling, a <br />nondepository credit institution, an office for insurance carriers or <br />insurance agents, brokers or service, a real estate office, or a medical or <br />dental office. <br /> <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br /> ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a meeting held <br />on June 24, 2003. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
