AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE $842,556 IN THE GRANTS FUND FOR <br />PLANNING, DESIGN, OPERATIONAL SERVICES AND CONSTRUCTION <br />RELATED TO THE CHILDREN'S MUSEUM OF VIRGINIA. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br /> 1. That the sum of $842,556 be appropriated in the Grants Fund for planning, <br />design, operational services, and construction related to the Children's Museum of <br />Virginia. <br /> <br /> 2. That this appropriation is contingent upon receipt of $800,000 in federal <br />grant funds and $42,556 in state grant funds for such purposes. <br /> <br /> 3.
