AN ORDNANCE TO APPROPRIATE $338,500 IN THE GENERAL FUND FOR <br />WIRELESS E-911 TO SUPPORT THE EMERGENCY COMMUNICATIONS <br />CENTER. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the CounciI of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br /> 1. That the sum of $338,500 be appropriated in the General Fund for <br />Wireless E-911 to be used for necessary mapping hardware and software to support the <br />Emergency Communications Center with the reception of wireless calls. <br /> <br /> 2. That this appropriation is contingent upon receipt of $338,500 in cost <br />recovery funds for such purpose from the Commonwealth of Virginia. <br /> <br /> 3. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br /> ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a meeting held <br />on June 11, 2002. <br /> <br /> Teste: <br /> <br /> <br /> City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
