1 ½-inch service connection Actual cost of such <br /> installation + 25% <br /> (minimum $900). <br /> <br /> 2 inch-service (connection) Actual cost of <br /> such installation <br /> +25% (minimum <br /> $1,500) <br /> <br /> (a)(3) The director shall estimate the charge and the applicant will deposit such <br /> amount before the work is done. An accounting shall be made of the cost of such <br /> installation. If the deposit is less than such charge, the applicant shall pay the <br /> difference within thirty days, and if the deposit is more than such charge, the <br /> difference shall be refunded promptly. Failure of the applicant to pay any <br /> difference .between the deposit and the actual charge shall cause the applicant to <br /> be denied water service as provided for in section 38-88. <br /> <br />Sec. 38-42. Sewer connection charges - Generally. <br /> <br /> (a) When connection is made to the city sewer, the following charges shall be <br /> made for each connection: <br /> <br /> (1) Residential; trailer parks: <br /> a. An availability fee of $150.00 shall be made for each <br /> dwelling unit and each common laundry room or like <br /> common facility which generates sewage in the case of <br /> apartments, condominiums or other multifamily structures. <br /> b. When the city performs the installation and connection, a <br /> connection fee equal to the greater of the actual cost of such <br /> connection plus twenty-five percent (25%) or $1,250.00 shall <br /> be made for each point of connection. The director shall <br /> estimate the connection fee including any applicable survey, <br /> design and restoration components, and the applicant shall <br /> deposit with the City the estimated connection fee before the <br /> work is done. An accounting shall be made of the cost of <br /> each installation. If the deposit is less than the actual <br /> connection fee, the applicant shall pay the difference within <br /> thirty days or have service denied until payment of any <br /> balance due is made. If the deposit is more than such charge, <br /> the difference shall be promptly refunded. <br /> <br />
