d. Shock Trauma/Paramedic/Cardiac Technician Certifications <br /> <br /> Sworn personnel in the Fire Department, except the Fire Chief, who <br /> have successfully obtained the following certifications will receive <br /> annually: <br /> <br /> *Shock Trauma $ 900 <br /> *Paramedic $1600 <br /> *Cardiac Technician $1200 <br /> <br /> *NOTE: This allowance will be considered creditable <br /> compensation for purposes of computing retirement. <br /> <br /> e. Hazardous Materials Team <br /> <br /> Sworn personnel in the Fire Depamuent who have successfully <br /> completed the core classes as defined by the Department of <br /> Emergency Services and are currently assigned to the Hazardous <br /> Materials Team, shall receive an allowance of $900 annually. <br /> <br /> f. Fire Staff <br /> <br /> Sworn personnel in classifications of Fire Fighter, Fire Lieutenant, <br /> and Fire Captain, who serve in a staff capacity, as designated by the <br /> Fire Chief, shall receive an allowance of $1,200 annually. <br /> <br /> g. Tactical Response Unit <br /> <br /> Any sworn officer assigned as one of the 17 members of the Police <br /> Tactical Response Unit shall receive an allowance of $900 annually. <br /> <br /> h. Master Police Officers or Master Fire Fighters <br /> <br /> Sworn personnel in the classifications of Police Officer and Fire <br /> Fighter may receive a special allowance as Master Police Officers or <br /> Master Fire Fighters. This shall consist of a $1,500 flat rate <br /> allowance for the duration of the period that the sworn person retains <br /> the "Master" designation, even in cases where this would cause an <br /> employee's salary to exceed the maximum of the range. <br /> <br /> 10 <br /> <br /> <br />
