ZONING AMENDMENT ORDINANCE Z-02-09 <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Vir~'da: <br /> <br /> 1. That the portion of the zoning map attached to and made a parr of the City <br />of Portsmouth Zoning Ordinance which now zones as Downtown D-2-I (Industrial), the <br />property described in Petition for Zoning Amendment Number Z-02-09, is hereby <br />amended and 'changed so as to show said property zoned as Downtown D-2-M (Mixed <br />Use), and that said property is hereby zoned as Downtown D-2-M (Mixed Use). <br /> <br /> 2. That the property affected by this ordinance by being zoned fi.om <br />Downtown D-2-I ~Industrial) to Downtown D-2-M (Mixed Use) is described as follows: <br /> <br />Z-02-09 <br /> <br />Beginning at the southwest comer of High Street and <br />Chestnut Street; thence, in a southerly direction 228' to a <br />point; thence, in a westerly direction I13'+ to a point; <br />thence, in an northerly direction 114' to a point; thence, in <br />a westerly direction 60' to a point: thence, in an northerly <br />direction 114' to a point; thence, in an easterly direction <br />173' to a point of the beginning. <br /> <br />3.
