2002-58 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE $288;061 IN THE GRANTS FUND FOR <br />THE VICTIM WITNESS ASSISTANCE PROGRAM TO PROVIDE <br />COMPREHENSIVE INFORMATION AND DIRECT SERVICES TO CRIME <br />VICTIMS AND WITNESSES. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br /> 1. That the sum of ~;288,061 be appropriated in the Grants Fund for the <br />Victim Witness Assistance Program ro provide comprehensive information and direct <br />services ro crime victims and witnesses; and <br /> <br /> 2. That the source of these funds is the Commonwealth of Virginia <br />Departmem of Criminal Justice Services. <br /> <br />3.
