2002-60 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 40 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF <br />PORTSMOUTH, VIRGINIA (1988) BY AMENDING SECTION 40-151 <br />THEREOF PERTAINING CERTAIN ADMINISTRATIVE FEES. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br /> 1. That Section 40-151 of the Code of the City of Portsmouth,Virginia <br />(1988) be amended and reordained to read as follo;vs: <br /> <br />Sec. 40-151. Fees. <br /> <br /> The following fees shall be paid upon the filing of an application under this <br />chapter. No application shall be considered complete unless accompanied by the proper <br />fee: <br /> (a) Rezoning--$400.00 per application. <br /> (b) Group housing project--S20.00 per dwelling in the proposed project; <br />$200.00 minimum per application. <br /> (c) Use permit--S400.00 per application. <br /> (d) Excavation use permit--S200.00 per application. <br /> (e) Sign use permit or certificate--S30.00 per sign. <br /> (f) Site plan (plan of development) review-- $200.00 for sims of one acre or <br />less; $400.00 for sites greater than one acre but less than five acres; $600.00 for sites of <br />five acres or greater. $75.00 per Erosion Conlrol Plan submitted separately. <br /> (g) Extension--S50,00 per application for any extension of a deadline or <br />phasing schedule fora permit or approval granted under this chapter. <br /> (h) Variance or special exception--S150.00 per application. <br /> (i) Parking special exception by planning commission--S100.00 per <br />application. <br /> (j) Commercial Site Plan inspection--S25.00 per hour for each hour in excess <br />of four hours. For purposes of this subsection, this fee shall apply when the total number <br />of inspection hours for a project exceeds four hours. <br /> <br /> Where multiple applications are involved or where one (1) application involves <br />multiple review, the fees shall be cumulative. The fees are processing fees and are <br />retained by the city regardless of the action taken on the application. <br /> <br />2. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
