acceptance of any such deposit shall in no way operate to prevent the collection <br /> <br />of taxes due the city by any other means provided by law. <br /> <br /> Upon making any such deposit, the taxpayer shall indicate to which parcel <br /> <br />of real estate such deposit shall be credited. V~enever the amoun~ on deposit shall <br />be sufficient to pay in full the unpaid taxes, with interes~ and penalties, on the <br />designated parcel for the year in which it has been delinquent the longest, the said <br />collector shall apply said deposits to the payment of said taxes, and shall mark said <br />taxes, with penalties and interest for said year, satisfied. <br /> <br /> Should any excess remain ~n the amount off said deposits after the application <br />aforesaid, the smme shall be held on the account o£ any unpaid city zaxes on real <br />estate due by said taxpayer° <br /> <br /> Such deposits shall not be transferable and shall not be withdrawable in <br /> <br />cash. <br /> <br /> Sec. 8-1.50. Application to taxes of money collected. <br /> <br /> All money collected by the Delinquent Tax Collector on account or in pay- <br />ment of city taxes shall be applied by the Delinquent Tax Collector to the first or <br />oldezt tax which appears on his hooks against the taxpayer. <br /> <br /> Division 2. Removal reports; when required; blanks; contents. <br /> <br /> Every person o~waing or operating any movtng van, furniture car, transfer <br />wagon~ dray, or any other vehicle that shall haul or move, or cause to be hauled or <br />moved, the household goods or personal effects of any resident of the city from one <br />pla¢~ to another within the city, or from one place within the city to another be- <br />yond the city limits, shall before hauling or moving any such property, make a repor~ <br />thereof to the Delinquent Tax Collector on blanks furnished by the Delinquen~ Tax Col- <br />lector, which report shall contain generally the character of the property to he so <br />moved, the full name of the owner or person in possession or having the custody there- <br />of, the address from which and to which the property is ~o be moved or hauled, the <br />date thereof, and the names of the owner and person in charge of such vehicle; pro- <br />vided, however, that if such property is to he moved or hauled by a person not licensed <br /> <br /> <br />
