page 4 <br /> <br /> (a) The license shall authorize the sale only of the goods described <br />in the application. <br /> <br /> (b) Th~ license shall authorize only the one typ~ of sale described in <br />the application at the location named therein~ <br /> <br /> (c) The license shall authorize only the sale of goods described in the <br />inventory attached To the application° <br /> <br /> (d) Any license herein provided for shall no~ be assignable or trans- <br />ferrable. <br /> <br />Section 8-96. Duties of Licensee. <br /> <br />A licensee hereunder shall~ <br /> <br /> (a) Make no additions whatsoever during the period of the licensed sale, <br />to the stock of goods set forth in the inventory attached To the application for <br />license. <br /> <br /> (b) Refrain from employing any untrue, deceptive or misleading advertis- <br />ingo <br /> <br /> (c) Conduct the licensed sale in strict conformity with any advertising <br />or holding ou~ incident thereto, <br /> <br /> (d) Keep available at the place of sale a duplicate copy of the inventory <br />submitted with the application and shall present such duplicate To inspecting <br />officials and interested persons upon request. <br /> <br /> (e) Keep any other goods separate and apart from the premises wherein <br />goods listed in the filed inventory as being object of sale are being offered <br />for sale~ <br /> <br />Section 8-97. Penalties and Enforcement, <br /> <br /> (a) Any person violating or failing to comply with any of the provisions <br />of this article shall, upon conviction thereof, be fined not less than $100 nor <br />more than $500 aud each such violation or failure shall constitute a separate <br />offense, Such conviction shall not relieve any such person from the payment, <br />collection and remittance of any tax imposed by the License Tan Ordinance° <br /> <br /> (b) The provisions of this article shall be enforced by the Commissioner <br />of the Revenue and the Bureau of License Inspection, who shall make such reports <br />concerning the same to the Director of Finance and perform such services, as <br />may be required by the Director of Finance in connection with the enforcement of <br />the provisions of this article. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />held on ~~/ , 1960. <br /> <br /> Teste: <br /> <br />Virginia, au a meeting <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
