All such property and all records of said courts shall be under the control of the Judge thereof, and shall not be removed or examined by any person, without the consent of such Judge° Article II~ Municipal Court, Section l~.l-5~ Election and ~erm of Judge. The civil and police justice in office on the effective date of this Chapter shall continue in office for his present term., and shall be known as Judge of the Municipal Court of the City of Portsmouth The council of .the City of Portsmouth during the month of July, 1962 ~and every! ~our years thereafter shall elect the Judge of said court, who shal¢ hold office for a term of four years, and whose ~erm of office shall begin on the first day of September succeed- ing his election~ The said Juage shall also serve as Associate Ju[ge of the Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court whenever necessary by reason of sickness, absence, vaca- tion, interest in the claim, proceeding or parties befor~ his court, or at such times as ~y be designated by the Judge thereof in order to equalize the work load of the said Judges Section 1601-6o Salary of Judge; collection and disposi;ion of fees. The Judge of the Municipal Court shall receive in full of all services rendered by him such salary as may be fixed by the council.
