AN ORDINANCE TO AMiD SECTION 30-132ol OF Tt~ CODE OF THE CITY <br /> OF PORTSMOUTH~ VIRGINIA, 1951, AS A~ENDED, RELATING TO ONE-WAY <br /> TRAFFIC ON CHESTNUT STREET BETWEEN GLASGOW STREET AND GEOI~GE <br /> WASHINGTON HIGHWAY° <br /> <br /> Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that <br />Section 30-132ol of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, 1951, as <br />amended, be amended and reordained to read as follows: <br /> <br /> Section 30-132.1. Chestnut Street between Glasgow Street and <br /> George Washington Highway. <br /> <br /> Chestnut Street between Glasgow Street and George Washington Highway is <br />hereby designated a one-way street. It shall be unlawful for any person to <br />drive any vehicle north on Chestnut Street between Glasgow Street and George <br />Washington Highway° <br /> <br /> This ordinance being necessary for the preservation of the public healih, <br />morals and safety, an emergency is declared to exist and it shall take effect <br />from its passage° <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth at a meeting held on <br />Nay 24, 1960. <br /> <br /> Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
