Section 3. That it is cognizant of the intention of the POrtsmouth Redevelop- ment and Housing Authority to undertake a redevelopment project promptly upon com- pi*tion of the General Neighborhood Renewal Plan and the preparation of a redevelOp- ment plan for such project, which project shall e~abrace at least ten per cent of the General Neighborhood Renewal-LArea and shall be of the character contemplated by Section ll0 (c) of said Title Io Section 4o That it is cog~nizan~ of the conditions that are imposed in the undertaking and carrying out of redevelopment projects with Federal assistance under Title I, including the requirements that a General Neighborhood Renewal Plan conform to ~he Workable Program of the community, as set forth in Section lO1 (c) of Title I, and to a general plan of the locality as a whole, as well as those requiring a feasible method of relocation and the provision of necessary local Erants-in-aido Section 5o That it is the intention of this body that the General Neighbor- hood Renewal Plan will be given consideration as a guide for the provision of public improvements in such Area and that the Plan will be considered in formulating codes and other regulatory measures affecting property in the Area and in undertaking ether local governmental activities pertaining to the development, redevelopment, re- habilitation, and conservation of the Area° Section 6~ That the filing of an application by The Portsmouth Redevelopment and Housing Authority for an advance of funde from the United States ~n an amount not to exceed $30,000o00 for the preparation of a General Neighborhood Renewal Plan for the General Neighborhood Renewal Area described above is hereby approved.
