in, all as hereinafter in this ordinance set forth, <br /> 4. The City of Portsmouth will fulfill any and all requirements <br />imposed upon it by law in respect of said annexation, whether specifically <br />mentioned herein or not. <br /> <br /> 5, As soon as the annexation herein provided for shall have he- <br />come effective, the rates for use ofwater and sewage disposal treatment in <br />the territories annexed will be the same as those which from time to time <br />are currently effective in the other portions of the City, to the extent <br />that such rates are set by the City. <br /> <br /> Section VI. <br /> <br /> The provisions planned for the future development of the annexed <br /> territories, inelndin~ the provision of public utilities and services there- <br /> in, are as follows: <br /> <br /> l. Sanitary Sewers. To proceed promptly with the installation of <br /> mains and pumping stations necessary to provide sewer servmce to the area <br /> presently within the propose~Western Branch Sanitary District, if same have <br /> not been provided upon the date of annexation. Additionally, in Area <br /> and Area "B" as hereinabove described, sewer mains and pumping stations will <br /> be installed to the maximum extent feasible To all new subdivisions and major <br /> industrial developments at their inception, thereby lessening the cost of <br /> such developments. Street laterals will be installed in the proposed annexa- <br /> tion areas on the same hasis as within the existing City. At the same time <br /> the necessary surveys and studies will he commenced to determine how best to <br /> <br />-13- <br /> <br /> <br />
