AN ORDINANCE TO CLOSE THAT PORTION <br />OF CUMBERLAND AVENUE. BETWEEN TIfE <br />SOUTtt LINE OF CLIFFORD STREET AND <br />TiE NORTHWEST LINE OF AIRLINE BOULEVARD. <br /> <br /> Be it ordained by the Council of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia, that that portion of Cumberland <br /> Avenue lying between the south line of Clifford <br /> Street and the northwest line of Airline Boulevard <br /> be, and the same is hereby ~losed and vacated <br /> a public street, reserving unto the City of <br /> Portsmouth, however, the perpetual easement, <br /> and privilege to.maintain, operate and re, lace <br /> all public utility lines now situate within the <br /> area so closed and vacated. <br /> <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of <br />Portsmouth, ~irgin~a, at~a meeting held October 9, <br />1962. ~ ' <br /> <br />Teste; <br /> <br />City <br /> <br /> <br />
