the bus is put in motion, or fail to stop at a school bus, ~ether pub~cly or privately o~ned s~ad whether transporting children to, from or in co~ection with a public or private school on the roadway of a school for the pu~ose of tak~ on or dischargir~ school children, when approachi~ the ssme from ~ direction on the roadway of such school and to re~in s~opped until all school children are clear of the roadway, provided, however, that t~is shall apply o~ly to school buses which are pa~ted yellow with the words "School Bus~ Stop, State Law" printed in black letters six inches high o~ the front and rear thereof. If space is limited on the front~ the words "School Bus" may be in letters four iaches high° (7) Fail to give s~dequate and timely signals of intention to turn, partly turn, slow do~,~ or stop, as requi~ed by sections 18-72 through 18-76; (8) Exceed a reasonable speed under the ¢ircu~ stances and traffic conditions existing at the time re- gardless of a~ posted speed (9) Drive a motor vehicle upon the highways of the city in excess of seventy-five n~les per hour; ex- cept as provided in subsection (12) of this section; (t0) Fail to bring his vehicle to a stop i~me- diately before entering a highw~ from a side road when there is trs~fic approaching upon such highway w~thin five hundred~ feet of such point of entrance, unless a '~Yield Right of Way" sign is posted; or where such si~ is posted, fail, upon entering such highway to yield the right of way to the driver of a vehicle ap- proaching on such b~g~ay from either direction; (il) Drive or operate a~ s~tomobile or other motor vehicle upon ~y driveway or pre:~ses of a church, school or any recreational facilities or a~y business property open vo the public~ recklessly or at a speed or mn a manner so as vo endar~er the life, t~ or pro- perty of a~ person; or (12) Drive a truck or tractor or tractor-tr~ck, or motor ~ehicle being used to tow a vehicle designed for self-propulsion, or a house trailer, or co~ina~io~ of vehicles designed to tr~por~ proper'cy upon the hideaways of the city at a speed in excess of sixty- five miles per hour. 12
