Sec. 18-41. Sa~e-Specific instances; authority of court. A person shall be guilty of reckless driving vfno shall: (1) Drive a vehicle when not under proper control or with inadequate or L~properly adjusted brakes upon any hi~%way of this city; (2) ~'~ile driving a vehicle, overtake and pass another vehicle proceeding in the same direction, upon or approaching the crest of a grade or upon or approach- ing ~ curve in the highway, where the driver's view along the highway is obstructed, excepv where the over- takJ_ng vehicle is being operated on a hi.way having two or more designated lanes or roadway for each direc- oion of travel or on a designated one-way street or highway; (3) Drive a vehicle ~¢nen it is so'loaded, or when there ~ in the front seat such n~roer of persons, as to obstruct the view of the driver to the front or sides of the vehicle or to interfere ~ith the driver's control over the driving mechanism of the vehicle; (4) Pass or attemp~ to pass ~wo other vehicles abreass, moving in the same direction, excep~ on high- ways having separate roadways of three or more lanes for each direction of travel, or on designated one- way ssree~s or highways; (5) Overtake or pass a~u~y other vehicle pro- ceeding in the same direction a5 ~uy steam, diesel or etect~c railway grade crossir4 or a~ any i~ter- section of.s~reets or .high~ys unless such vehicles are beir4 operated on a highway havL~4 5wo or more desi~aated lanes of roadway ~or each direction of travel or on a desi~aated one-way s~reet or high- way, or while pedestrians are passing or,bout to pass in front of either of such vehicles, unless per~.~tted so to do by a traffic light or police officer; (6) Fail to ssop a5 a school bus whether publicly or privately owned and whether vransporting chiidre~ to, from, or in connection with a public or private school stopped on the highway for the purpose of tak- ing on or discharging school children, when approach- ing the same from any direction and to r~in stopped ~nti! all school children are clear of the highway and 11
