What dog license shall consist of. <br /> <br />A dog license shall consist of a license receipt <br />and a metal tag, and the tag shall be stamped or <br />permanently marked te show the calendar year for <br />which issued, and bear a serial number. <br /> <br />Sec. 3-40, Duplicate license tag. <br /> <br />If a dog license shall become lost, destrpyed <br />or stolen, the ~vner or custodian shall at once <br />apply to the City Treasurer'for a duplicate <br />license tag, presenting the original license <br />receipt. Upon affidavit of The owner or custodian <br />before the City Treasurer that the original license <br />tag has been Iost, destroyed or stolen, he shall <br />issue a duplicate license tag which the owner or <br />custodian shall immediately affix to the collar <br />of the dog. The City Treasurer shall endorse the <br />number of the duplicate and ti~e date issued on <br />the face of the original license receipt. The fee <br />for a duplicate tag shall be twenty-five cents, <br />which shall be paid into the dog fund mnd <br />reported in the gross dog license collections, <br /> <br />Sec. 3-41. Displaying receipts; dog to wear tag. <br /> <br />Dog license receipts shall bc carefully preserved <br />by the licensee and exhibitea promptly on request <br />for inspection by any game warden or police <br />officer. Dog license tags shall be securely <br />fastened to a substantial collar by the owner or <br />custodian and worn by such dog. <br /> <br /> <br />
