(d) General <br /> <br />(1) When a building has been removed from a <br />site, the appropriate minimum charge will be <br />made whenever the new connection is made. This <br />will apply to any connection whether or not it <br />has been in use before. <br /> <br />(2) When more than one connection is made to <br />a residential, con~r~rcial or industrial <br />building, the charge for each such additional <br />connection will be the actual cost plus 15% or <br />the minimum charge applicable to the type of <br />building served, ~Ynichever is greater. <br /> <br />(3) When a sewer does not exist in the street <br />adjacent to a building site, sewer lines may <br />be installed by the City to serve such site <br />for which the owner of such site shall pay the <br />actual cost plus 15%, unless the Council shall <br />otherwise direct. <br /> <br /> This ordinance being necessary for th~ preservation <br />of the public health, morals and safety, an emergency is <br />declared to exist and it Shall take effect from and after <br />its passage. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth~ <br />Virginia, ~ at a meeting held ~&~y lt, 1965, <br /> <br />Taste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
