.Section 80. Peddlers;

<br /> ~ Peddlers Of market produce, and vendors of soft drinks, bread,
<br />fruits, nuts, confectxoqerxes, xce cream, tea, coffee, sold on the st'~eets
<br />or in other public places, $150.00 per annum, for each cart, dray, auto-
<br />mobile, wagon, wheelbarrow, push cart, or other vehicle used, in addition
<br />to the regular tax on wagon~o
<br />
<br />Peddlers selling ice cream from push carts only, $30.00.
<br />
<br />Peddlers selling fish only, $80.00.
<br />
<br /> All peddlers not otherwise taxed, $100.00 per-week for each
<br />automobile, wagon, vehicle or other means of peddling.
<br />
<br /> No peddler shall be permitted while doing business as a peddler,
<br />to keep his vehicle in one location on the streets for a longer period than
<br />ten minUtes, and shall not make sales in front of a place of business where
<br />-business similar to that conducted by the peddler is transacted. Any
<br /> person violating the provisions of this section shall be subject to a fine
<br /> of five dollars for each offense.
<br />
<br /> Each person, selling ice, Coal, wood~ or melons by retail from
<br />ice, wood., or coal boxes, $10.00.
<br />
<br /> Each person selling wood, coal, or other fuel or ice from wago~s~.
<br />$20.00 on each wagon, in addition to the regular tax on wagons.
<br />
<br /> . Each person selling bread, cake, pi~ peanuts,
<br />from baskets, $10.00.
<br />
<br />ice cream o~ food
<br />
<br /> Each person selling bakery products from wagons, or trucks,
<br />$20.00, in addition to regular tax on wagons or trucks.
<br />
<br />Each person selling bakery products from push carts $15.00.
<br />
<br /> Itinerant vendors selling or dispensing goods, other than articles
<br />of food, flowers, balloons, whistle, and flags, on the streets or in other
<br />public places, $$0.00 per day o~ part thereof. Nothing herein contained
<br />shall prevent the distribution of free samples where no charge is made
<br />directly or indirectly.~
<br />
<br /> Hach person selling direct to merchants any merchandise and
<br />delivering same without a previous order, $180.00 in addition to tax on
<br />vehicle, manufacturers and producersexcepted.
<br />
<br /> Each person not having an established place of business in this
<br />City, selling to others than duly licensed merchants engaged in the building suppl
<br />business, any lumbera posts~ shingles, sash, doors~ blinds~ bricks or
<br />other building materials or any ornamental cement or concrete articles $I80~00.
<br />
<br /> Each person occupying the public streets for the sale of flowers
<br />not raised on seller~s own premises, balloons, Christmas trees~ whistles,
<br />pencils, and flags, $I0,00 pe~ week or part thereof.
