Nothing contained in this ordinance shall be construed as <br />giving the right to any person to obstruct the sidewalks or other public <br />places. <br /> <br /> Each person selling or offering for sale at public auction any <br />bankrupt, assignee, trustee or fire stock, $120.00 per week: but this <br />section shall not apply to any person selling under a deed 6f trust or <br />court order. Any person who shall violate the provisions of this paragraph <br />shall be fined not more than $250.00 and each day's failure to obtain the <br />license ~1~ shall constitute a separate offense. <br /> <br />Canvassers not otherwise provided for, $30.00, <br /> <br /> Each person who shall barter or sell the right to manufacture or <br />use any machinery or other articles patented under the laws of the United <br />States, unless the patentee be a citizen of the United States, <br /> <br />None of the licenses required under this section shall be prorated, . <br /> <br />.:Section 81. Personal Service Occupations: <br /> <br /> Every person conducting,, operating,' or engaging in any of the <br />following-businesses, trades or occupations, shall pay an annual license tax <br />of $50.00 for the first $5,000 and $0.50 for each additional $100 of his <br />gross receipts,-as hereinabove defined, in said business, trade, or occupa- <br />tion for the previous calendar year: <br /> <br /> (a) The business of operating: <br /> A hotel, motel or motor court <br /> A Turkish, Roman or other like ~ath or bath parlor <br /> An undertaker, embalmer <br /> <br />(b) <br /> <br />The Business of: <br />Addressing letters or envelopes <br />Bottle exchange <br />Cleaning chimneys, furnaces <br />A correspondent establishment or burea.u <br />Dental laboratory <br />Exterminating rats, vermzn, termites, etc. <br />Fumigating or disinfecting <br />Furnishing house cleaning service <br />Furnishing messenger service~ except 'telephone or tele- <br />graph messenger service <br />Furnishing statistical service <br />Operating a kennel, or small animal hospital <br />A physicians' registry, nurses' registry <br />Picture framing or gilding <br />Private School (other than religious and non-profit} <br />Renting any kind Of tangible personal property <br />Window cleaning <br />Renting or furnishing automatic washing, drying, and dl~- <br />cleaning machines (other than coin-operated} <br />Other personal service occupations. <br /> <br />- 28 - <br /> <br /> <br />
