Sec. 37A-22. Requirement when const~mer is supplied by <br /> n~ore than one meter. <br /> <br /> If any water conswner is supplied by more than one meter, each meter <br />shall be considered as a separate service both as to the ready-to-serve <br />chaz~ge and meter rates for water. <br /> <br />Sec. 37A-23. P~ocedure when pramises with different owners <br /> are supplied by single tap; <br /> <br /> ~aere more than one pr~ises having different o~,mers are supplied <br />with ~.~ter by means of a single tap, this condition shall be ramedied <br />promptly and each premises connected with a separate tap and service <br />pipe by the o~.~ner. <br /> <br />Sec. 37A-24. Duty of water deparmnent as to meters. <br /> <br /> ~ne water department will furnish, install and ,maintain at its ex- <br />pense all meters except those installed for fire p~o~ection. <br /> <br />Sec. ~7A-25. Meters generally. <br /> <br /> Ail meters must be approved~ tested and sealed by the water ~epart- <br />ment before being available for, service. After being instatIed no meter <br />shall be tm, moved or ~mpered with by a~- consmmer or other person, and <br />all meters shall be u~der ~le exclusiv~ regulation of the waver depart- <br />menv. In the even~ of a meter failing to register properly or beimg <br />ramoved for testing or repairs, water bills will be rendered for an <br />estimated amount based on the average constm, ption of the previous tb_~ee <br />periods whe~ the meter was registering properly <br /> <br /> In the event of a c~nplaint by a cons'~ner as to the accuracy of a <br />meter-,, it shall be ramoved and tested by the waver depaz~cment. If it <br />is four~ to be correct the constmer shall pay the cost of r~noving, test- <br />lng a~nd replacing the same. If found incorrect~ such cost shall be borne <br />by the water department. Such complaint shall no~ justify or be used as <br />an excuse for delay in the paymen~ of bills rendered for water supplied <br />the same consumer t~rough arff other meter. In dete~ni~ the acctu~acy <br />of a meter, two per cent slow or fast shall be the max~m.m allowance for <br />over or umder registration. <br /> <br />Sec. 37A-26. Water for buildimg purposes. <br /> <br /> ?emits For water for buildir~ purposes will be issued on applica- <br />tion and the p~ayment of a deposit of not less than fifteen dollars, <br />~his waver shall be supplied throug~h a meter to be ftavmishedby the water <br />department. ~ne ov,~,er or contractor shall pay in accordance with bills <br />sub~tted. When the work is cmmpleted andwater service for building <br />p~zrposes shut off, and all payments have been made For water supplied, <br />the deposit ~11 be returned vo the person who made it. <br /> <br /> <br />
