Sec. 37A-20. Meter rates for water supplied. (a) For all water which passes through the meters, the consmmers ~thin the corporat~ iZmits of the city of Portsmouth and the City of Suffolk shall pay the followir~ rates: (1) For the first fifteen vhousand cubic feet used in any one month, ~;enty-five cents per hundred cubic Feet. (2) For any nexz quantity between fifteen thousand cubic feet and one million cubic feet used in any one month~ sixteen cents per hundred cubic feet. (3) For any next quantity in excess of one million cubic feet msed in any one month, thirteen cents per hundred cubic feet. The mir~mmm chs~ge for water used, exclusive of the ready-to-serve charge, shall be one dollar per montln. (b) For a~l water ~.~ich passes thro~ the meters, the conswaers 6utside the corporate limits of the city of Portamouth amd the city of Suffolk shall pay the followir~ rates: (1) For the firsv fifteen ~housand cubic feet used in any one montln, fifty cents per hundred cubic ~eet. (2) For any next quantity between fifteen thousand cubic feet and one million cubic feet used in any one month, sixteen cents per hurzk~ed cubic feet. (3) For any next quantity in excess of one mitliom cubic feet used in any one month, thirteen cents per hurzlred cubic feet. The charge for water used~ exclusive of the ready-to-serve charge, shall be not less than two dol]~mrs per month. Sec. 37A-21. Meter for each premise. Only one meter shall be all~,~ed for each precise as defined in section 37~4 ~nd o~_ly one such precise can be supplied through one meter, mn~ss, in the jud~-~ent of the director of public utilities, multiple meters will afford better service. -7-
