I hereby apply to the Portsmouth Water Department for a sup- ply of water for Premises No ..................... Street, be- tween ................. Street s/~d ................... Street° Being the owner of the pr~aises, I agree to be responsible for payment of all water furnished said premises at the rate now or hereafter established, and all sewage disposal charges assessed ~gainst the said premises in accordance ~ith the ordi- nances governing sewage disposal charges, and that the water sh~llbe used on the premises only, arid ~thout waste; and to be bound in ail things by the stipulations and conditions of water supply now or hereafter embraced in the City Code, and the r~les which may be fram time to t~me adopted; and to permit the agents of the water department at all reasonable times to visit and inspect the described premises. It is understood and agreed that the City of Portsmouth shall not be liable in the event of the stoppage of the supply of water and that if m~ter is wasted on acgount of leaky pipes or fixtures or any other cause, or if water bills and sewage dis- posal bills are not paid at the proper t~ne or for a violation of tony other rule of the water department, or sewage disposal depart~nent, the department shall ~ve the right to cut off the water at any time; otherwise this contract shall continue in force until cancelled in writing by me. All consLmers supplied with water by the water department shall pay for same by meter measurements at the t~ae and at the rates as provided by this chapter. Sec. 37A-19. Meter service charges.
