Plumber ................ Witness Sec. 37A-7. Compliance with sections 37A-8 to 37A-15 as prerequisite to service. Ail cons~ners of water supplied with water from the city's mains shall be supplied upon, and shall be required to comply %.~th sections 37A-7 to 37A-15 before water is supplied to the pre~ises. Sec. 37A-8. Execution of contract as prerequisite to water sera,ice; m~ner's liability for water furnished tenant. The o~mer of any premises desiring water to be supplied to such premises shall be required to sign a contract prepsred for the purpose, containing the provisions and in the form as set forth in section 37A-t6 or in section 37A-17. A separate contract sb~ll be required for each pramise as defined insection 37A-4. However, snow,her shall not be re- quired to pay for water f~r~shed to a ter~a~t~ unless the o~mer has signed a contract agreeing to pay for water furoished to his tenant. Sec. 37A-9. %'fnen cash deposit required as prerequisite to service. Whenever the ~,mer of a pramises refuses to sign the contract mer~ tioned in section 37A-8 or repu~iaves or cancels a contract previously signed by hZ~~, no water shall be supplied at the premises until the ovaaer or tenant applyirg for the water shall deposit with the director of pu'olic utilities a cash deposit equal in amount to the average bill for the pra~uises, includir~g cha~Ees for sewage disposal service and utility taxes ba~ed thereon, if any, for four months if it be a quarterly account, or two months if it be a monthly acco,m~t; provided, however, the deposit shall not in ar~ case be less tb~n fifteen dollars. The o-~aner may m~e deposit for the tenant. Sec. 37A-10. Execution of contract by tenant. Whenever a tenant shall make a deposit pursua~t to section 37A-9, he shall be r~quired to si~n a contract substantially s~aitar to the form as set forth in section 37A-16. Such contract ~nd deposit n~ be trans- ferred by the director of public utilities to cover any otlner pre~ises to Yahich the tenant may have moved.
