Same - To whom ~.anted. <br /> <br /> Permits to install electric heat, light or <br />power ~zrirg or apparatus used on s~me or for aIter- <br />lng or repairing same shall be issued only to quali- <br />fied persons as defined in section 9-35, or to a <br />person holding a limited certificate in accordance <br />with section 9-29. <br /> <br />Sec. 9-29. Limited certificate to perfom <br /> electrical work. <br /> <br /> (a) The building official is authorized to <br />issue a limited certificate to perfom, electrical <br />work incident to the perfo~aance of certain non- <br />electrical work as hereinafter se5 forth: <br /> <br />(1) An electrical s'~mgn con~ractor may be issued <br />a- limited certificate to do electrical work <br />incident to the installation~ connection, <br />maintermnce or alteration of any electrical <br />sign, or its supports, and to the repair, <br />extension or reconstruction of any electrical <br />sign. <br /> <br />(2) Any person engaged in the business of in- <br />stalling or repairing elevators may be issued <br />a limited certificate to do electrical work <br />incident to the installation or repair of <br />elevators but all such pemitted electrical <br />work shall be restricted to the internal wiring <br />of the elevator and its controls. <br /> <br />(3) Any person engaged in the business of in- <br />stalling or repairing plt~nbing or heating ap- <br />paratus or equipment may be issued a limited <br />certificate to do electrical work ~cident to <br />the installation or repair of such apparatus <br />or equipment. <br /> <br />-2- <br /> <br /> <br />
