(b) Whenever the director ~as determined that a violation of <br />the section herein set forth and numbered 13-17.~ has occurred, he shall <br />notify the owner of the land or lot adjacent to the street, sidewalk, alley <br />or area upon which the violation exists to cut or remove or cause to be cut <br />or removed the weeds or debris complained of within such time as is specified <br />in the notice. Such notice shall be in writing and shall be delivered or <br />mailed to the last known address of the owner and the proof of such mailing <br />shall be sufficient evidence of serving such notice by mail. <br /> <br /> (c) It shall be unlawful for theowner to fail, refuse or neglect <br />to comply with the notice referred to by the section herein set forth within <br />the time specified within such notice. <br /> <br />Sec. 1~-t7.6 Storage of abandonedvehicles on private property - <br /> Prohibited. <br /> <br /> It shall be unlava%~l to Park store, or leave any abandoned vehicle <br />of any kind on private property or for the owner of any such vehicle or the <br />owner or occupant 6f any property to allow, permit or suffer the same to be <br />left upon any privately-owned property in any area zoned for residential <br />purposes unless such vehicle is kept within a fully enclosed building or <br />structure. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at <br />a meeting held October 8, 1968. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
