(e) No license shall be issued ~nder this section to a~v <br />person ~unless such person shall hold or shall secure sdmultaneously <br />therewith the proper State License required by said "Alcoholic Beverage <br />Control Act", which State License shall be exhibited to the Cmumission- <br />er of the Revenue. <br /> <br /> (f) Any such license may be amended to show a cb~mnge in the <br />place of business vrithin the City. Any such license may be trausfer- <br />red frmm. one person to another, provided the person to whom transfar- <br />~red holds at the same time a similar license from the Alcoholic <br /> Beverage Conta~ol Board. <br /> <br />Section 38. A~semant Arcades: <br /> <br /> On each amusement arcade where games are played and pictures <br />are sho-~ by means of a coin-fan-the-si0t machine, i~ which may be <br />installed coins of a denomination of not more than five Cents, $120~00 <br />where the maobines do not exceed fifty in number, and $300.00 where the <br />machines exceed fifty in ntumber. Not prorated. <br /> <br /> No licer~e shall be issued for any amuse=~nt arcade having less <br />tb~n twenty machines, and the tax paid tuuder this section shall be in <br />~!ieu of a separate license for each separate machine. <br /> <br /> No license shall be issued for s~u amusement arcade having more <br />than one room or inclosure. <br /> <br /> The City ~nager shall have authority to _~avoke this license upon <br />conviction of violation of any law. <br /> <br />Section 39. ~musement Parks: <br /> <br /> Any person operatLng <br />the City of Portsmouth ~ich s~halt be open to the public, for the privi- <br />lege of operating ~rit~bin such park a bowling alley, hobby horse, merry- <br />go-rotund, ferris wheel, old mill, roller coaster, pony or train rides] <br />ar~ other similar s_~asements, penny or hicke! machines for exhibiting <br />pictt~res, automatic photo mac._bJ_nes, harD, houses, boathouses ~nd parking <br />lots, shall pay the follo~.~hng licer~e tax $1,000.00, and in addition <br />thereto $.30 per ~100.00 of the gross receipzs, ,exclusive of ars~ Fed- <br />eral ar~ City a~-mission tax thereon~ from all su6h activities, except <br />the gross receipts from the operation of such boathouses, bathhouses, <br />and parking ~ <br /> <br /> ~nen such ~muse~n~ ~rk has two or less of the above accumulated <br />~.~m~sements, such license tax s.hall be as follows: $150.00, ~-nd in addi- <br />tion thereto, $.30 per $t00.00 of the gross receipts therefrom, exclusi~-e <br />of any Federal and City admission tax thereon. <br /> <br /> <br />
