Be it ordained by the Cotuacil of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia~ that the Zom~tng Ordi_~mace of the City of Portsmouth, 1961, be amended by amendf~g Section 5-7 thereof, such amended section to read as follows: Section 5-7. Residential R-75, Residential R-75rS mud Office Residential 0R-75 District Dimensional Requirements. Within the Residential R-75, Resider~ial R ~ -75-S m~ Office Resi- dentia! 0R-75 Districts as sho;~ on the Zor~ing~'~p, all the following ~i- mensiona2 re~irmT~nts shall be complied with: (a) ~nf~n~m required plot area in the Residential R-75-S and Of- fice Residential 0R-75 Districts and for the first dwellip~ mnit in the Residential R-75 District other than for row houses .... 7,500 square ~ ~- (b) ~,U~imumadditional plot area per dwelzmng~nitTM ' for each· mmtn' in excess of one in the Residential R-75 District ...... 3~000 square feet. (c) Y~mrequired plot area for row houses only in the Resi- dential R-75 District ........ 2500 square feet; except that as sm alternate method of development, a subdivision of r~/~ houses ~y be approved ~M~thout a m~nJ~mtmp!ot size requirement, provided tlnat the ~axim.~ n~mber of plots per gross acre shall not exceed 12 p!~vs per ~ess acre and all other dimensional requirements set f~rth by this section which a_~e applicable to row houses are followed.
