AN ORDINANCE TO CLOSE A PORTION OF A CERTAIN UNNamED STRF~WT FARAT,T,~, TO Db~-NE~iN ROAD. Whereas, Catalina Development' Corporation s~ud Roberta Land Corpo- ration have n~de application to vacate and close that hereinafter described portion of a certain u~asmed street; and ~ereas, by resolution of this Council, adopted November 12, 1968, viewers were appointed pursuant to Section 15.1-364 of the Code of Virgioia, 1950, as amended, to view the here~er describe~ portion of the said- street located in the East Southdale area and to report in writing ~[~uether in their opinion, any, and if any, what inconvenie~nce would result from discontinuing the below described street; and Whereas, the said viewers ~-¢e reported in vaulting that in their opinion no i~_ convenience would result from closirg and discontinuirg said street; Now, Therefore, Be It Ordained ~ the Council of the City of Ports- mouth, Virgihia, that: Beginoing at a point on the North side of D~nedLn Road, 367 feet East of the Northeast corner of the intersection of Dunedin Road and City Park Avenue and from said point of beginning running thence along the side of a 26 foot road in an Easterly direction 524 feet, more or less~ to another 26 foot road whic~ rahs from Portsmouth Boulevard (formerly Old Suffolk Boulevard) to Dunedin Road, thence in a North- erly direction along said 26 foot road 26 £eet, thence in a Southwesterly direction, parallel to Duna~Lin Road, 524 feet, more or less, thence South 1745'~0" West alorg a line 26 feet to the point of beg~ning~ be, and the s~me is hereby, closed s_nd vacated as a public street.
