vided with necessary equipment for the measurement <br />of acidity or alkalinity and for residual determin- <br />ations. The equipment room shall be satisfactorily <br />located and adequately drained. <br /> <br /> (u) Dressing Rooms. Dressing Rooms shall be <br />adequately designed, located, drained, equipped, <br />lighted and ventilated. <br /> <br /> (v) Toilets. Toilet facilities shall be pro- <br />vided and shall be adequately designed and located <br />with separate facilities for men and women. <br /> <br /> (w) Exceptions. Subsections (e), {i), (u) and <br />(v) hereof shall not apply to swimming pools operated <br />and maintained in conjunction with apartment <br />developments. <br /> <br /> Sec. 14-19. Safety of Bathers. Ail reasonable <br />precautions shall be taken to protect the users of and <br />bathers in swimming pools and family pools from injury or <br />accident. Convenient means of ingress and egress shall be <br />provided and the depth of water and any irregularities of <br />the bottom shall be clearly indicated. Safety appliances <br />such as lifebuoys, life hooks, bamboo poles, or ropes and <br />equipment including first-aid kits shall be provided and <br />be readily accessible. Except for family pools and swim- <br />ming pools operated ~and maintained by apartment develop- <br />ments, a sufficient number of attendants shall be on duty <br />when the swimming pool is in use who shall be capable <br />swimmers, competent in lifesaving methods and artificial <br />resuscitation. <br /> <br /> Sec. 14-21. Revocation of License. Any license <br />granted by the Director hereunder may be revoked by him <br />for failure to comply with the Rules and Regulations pro- <br />mulgated hereunder or with this ordinance, or whenever, in <br />the determination of the Director, further operation under <br />such license creates a menanceto the health, safety or <br />morals of the users of the swimming pool; providedF that <br />the holder of any license which has been revoked may appeal <br />to the City Council the Director's revocation of the license <br />and may have the City Council determine the legality or <br />reasonableness of the revocation of the license. NO appeal <br />under this section, however, shall entitle the license holder <br />to continue operation of the swimming pool pending action <br />by the City Council° <br /> <br /> Sec. 14-24.
